He organized in Budapest the so-called \u201cFriday nights\u201d and he hosted prominent Hungarian, Czech and Slovakian guests, such as Attila J\u00f3zsef and L\u0151rinc Szab\u00f3. The result of this Czechoslovakian-Hungarian overture was the Anthology of Czech and Slovakian Poets editing by Straka. Beside of Straka\u2019s cultural organizing work, his translations of literary works were also significant and i would like prove this in my essay, concentrating on the translations of Zsigmond M\u00f3ricz\u2019s works, especially Be Faithful Unto Death.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
