The present study addresses both the need for conceptual clarification as well as the question of why transculturalism was needed as a new framework for interpretation. Furthermore, it seeks to answer the question of why this conceptual shift represents a new perspective in understanding intercultural relations. The study argues that transculturalism can create an opportunity that previous trends did not have.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
