IN:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Partit\u00fara Irodalomtudom\u00e1nyi foly\u00f3irat, Volume XVI. , Issue 2, 2021, p. 53-68,\u00a0ISSN 1336-7307<\/span><\/p>\n DOI:\u00a0<\/strong>10.17846\/PA.2021.16.2.53-68<\/p>\n Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n The present study examines the four poetic tales of D\u00e1niel Varr\u00f3\u2019s children\u2019s book, A szomjas troll (2018), looking back at the lessons and interpretive history of T\u00fal a Maszat-hegyen (2003). The texts of A szomjas troll count on the attention of adults reading out the tale at least as spectacularly as on children\u2019s, as it has been observed by many in the case of T\u00fal a Maszat-hegyen. By text analyses, therefore, I am looking for the answer whether Varr\u00f3\u2019s volume published in 2018 provides an answer to the dilemmas arising from the duality of the works primarily related to children\u2019s reception, already put forward concerning the \u201cpoetic fairy tale\u201d of 2003, and if so, what the response can be. On the other hand, I attempt to point out some characteristic features of poetic tales by the examination of poetic, genre historical, inter- and architextual aspects in the volume, paying special attention to their relationship to the genre traditions of fairy tales<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
