The common feature of the characters appearing in it is that they try to escape from their traumatic past by forgetting it. In their case, it is not some gradual struggle, but a sudden plunge into complete amnesia. This condition appears at the beginning of the story as an epidemic that strikes women and men, typically in their forties, who become its suffering victims. Through the fate of the male and female protagonists, we see how therapists try to endow them with a new identity, giving the same instructions on how to build it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
