Based on the theoretical writings of Frieder Nake, a German mathematician, art theorist, and algorithm artist, it starts from the nature and relationship of digital vs. analog visual signs to consider the creation of digital artworks and the medial aspects of their possible interpretation. The research, further developing Nake\u2019s views, takes into account the cultural-philosophical consequences of digitality and argues for the significance of the so-called \u201cthird culture\u201d as an attitude of thought defining the era of digitality.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
