This\u00a0generation played an active part in the crisis of this literary turning point that\u00a0started in the middle of the seventies and resulted in new genre hybrids by the\u00a0nineties. The local avant-garde didn\u2019t need the publishing and intellectual support\u00a0of Hungarian Workshop anymore. In my study I explore the debates between\u00a0the Hungarian Workshop and the critics – that took place in the eighties in\u00a0literary publications – about visual poetry, avant-garde and the Western\u00a0Hungarian literature.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
