Issue 2, 2014, p. 121-140., ISSN 1336-7307<\/p>\n DOI:\u00a0<\/strong>10.17846\/PA.2014.9.2.121-140<\/span><\/p>\n The paper tries to analyze and interpret the literary work A hal\u00e1l kilovagolt\u00a0<\/em>Perzsi\u00e1b\u00f3l<\/em> written by P\u00e9ter Hajn\u00f3czy, taking those aspects into consideration,\u00a0that have been researched by others as well. The paper is segmented into four\u00a0main \u00a0arts. Firstly it deals with alcoholism and smoking as sacred activities, furthermore\u00a0it analyzes the biblical motifs. After this it attempts to find an answer to\u00a0the meaning of the visions that accompany the whole literary work, focusing on\u00a0the \u00a0title giver vision. The third part is the analysis of the inter-textual cells, that\u00a0can be found in the text, dealing with their possible functions in the work. The\u00a0last part is a comparative analysis between the mentioned literary work and\u00a0Sadegh Hedayat\u2019s The Blind Owl comparing the common motifs and the search\u00a0for identity throughout both works. It tries to find those late modern paradigms\u00a0that can be found in both novels. At last, the paper sums up the peculiarities of\u00a0Hajn\u00f3czy\u2019s novels.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
