IN:\u00a0<\/strong>Partit\u00fara Irodalomtudom\u00e1nyi foly\u00f3irat, Volume: VIII. \u00a0, Issue 2, 2013 p. 91-98,\u00a0ISSN 1336-7307<\/span><\/p>\n DOI:<\/strong>\u00a010.17846\/PA.2013.8.2.91-98<\/p>\n Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n The study makes an attempt at perceiving the structures of Jewish-Hungarian\u00a0minority identity as a form of self-representation in the poetry and theoretical\u00a0comcepts of Alad\u00e1r Koml\u00f3s. In the centre of research are the early poems written\u00a0by Koml\u00f3s himself, and his intellectual and artistic portrait of the emblematic\u00a0Jewish-Hungarian poet, J\u00f3zsef Kiss. Koml\u00f3s composes in the spirit of the\u00a0history of ideas (Geistesgeschichte), and as a starting point he uses the term of\u00a0the collective soul. His J\u00f3zsef Kiss-portraits were changing in accordance with\u00a0the actual political and social demands and requirements.
