Abstract
In the world of John Scalzi’s Old Man’s War cycle mankind populates different planets and not only humans but aliens colonize livable worlds in the universe. A harsh battle rages on for the livable worlds. In my study I explore the moving of body boundaries, the motor and sensor effects of body modification and their combined effects on the human psyche within the framework of Scalzi’s novel cycle and the genre of military SF.
