Abstract:

Abstract. The aim of the paper is to reveal the philosophical and linguistic dimensions of the concept of alétheia, which has Greek and Christian origins. From this aspect it seems inevitable to comparise the concept of the truth in Heidegger and Hamvas. Inspite of the visible parallels, this concept has different organizations in the thinking horizon of the two authors. The alétheia in Hamvas – however it has an ontological status – becomes also the linguistic ground of the attitude to reality, and consequently, it forms the measure of his approach to poetry and his practice of writing.
