Absztrakt:

In my study, I examine the translation practice and the world literature canon of the early hungarian avant-garde until 1921. Lajos Kassák, due to his criteria of choice preferring particular textual characteristics beyond all special literary tendencies (which were reinforced by the taste of a Tett’s and ma’s critics and the practice of avant-garde works’ translators, managed to realize a converging international corpus in his revues and work up an international network.
